Walk for Wishes

Help the Make-a-Wish Foundation on August 15th and Walk for Wishes! Since 1986, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has granted wishes to more than 4,250 children battling life-threatening medical conditions. There are currently 250 children awaiting their wishes and we need your help!  Take the first step in making their wishes come true by walking as an individual, starting a walk team or asking your friends and family to donate. If you are unable to walk, you may still join us at the event and can also participate by helping us to fundraise online. Click Here!

Learn more about one of our wolves:
Name:  Lonnie
Year of birth: 2006
Wolf Haven resident since: 2009
Lonnie was found at a young age wandering around a cemetery in Los Angeles, California.  With nowhere to go and no one claiming ownership, Lonnie was taken to the Villalobos Rescue Center in southern California. At Villalobos, Lonnie was well cared for, but it was a temporary situation, so in February 2009, Lonnie arrived at Wolf Haven - his forever home! Lonnie and London (last month’s wolf) were both rescued during the same trip last year and brought to Wolf Haven. Lonnie’ enclosure mate is Meeka.
